Family Owned Business for over 50 years. Northland Foods has been in business for four generations. In 1936 the first grocery store opened and operated during the depression era. The second generation expanded to six locations in the Detroit area. In 1972 the third generation left Detroit to open our Kalkaska store and in 1994 expanded to Kingsley. The fourth generation has taken over operations and looking for future expansion.
